Azzuri’s 1-1 draw with WYFC06 meant their lead at the top of the second tier was reduced to four points after Boca’s 3-0 win over Grrasshoppers moved them into second, HKU70s moved into the promotion places after a 4-1 victory over CSOB, Dynamo dropped to fourth after playing out the day’s only scoreless draw with IES, Hearts edged White Youth by the odd goal in five and GGFC and ANP drew 1-1.
Antonhill remain top of the third after a comfortable 3-0 win over OBA, Maccabi are just one point behind after thrashing Goal Visio 7-0, Yan Po’s narrow 1-0 win over Scorpions ensured they are still in the hunt, University beat FOB 3-1, Power 22 and HOB are in fifth and sixth places respectively after their game ended 1-1 and HKSS moved further away from the relegation places after winning their game against Darts, 3-1.
New boys Bank of China’s unbeaten run came to an abrupt end after they were beaten convincingly 4-1 by Corinthians and these teams are now level on points at the top of the fourth division with the Bankers having played one game less and ahead on goal difference, Green Cypress are just a point behind after their 4-1 win over Rising Sun, Gurkha Intl were shaded 1-0 by Skyline, Wah Yan’s Class of ’84 went down 1-3 to Bapcoll and Standard Chartered scored the only goal in their game with bottom placed team Hung Art.
