Wanderers Defeat Throws Title Race Wide Open, Boca Level On Points With Azzurri, Maccabi Still Five Clear, Wins Again For Green Cypress and Corinthians Monday 9th January 2017

Leaders Wanderers’ 0-1 defeat to Albion, who stay second, means their lead is now just three points and with fellow Sports Roaders Colts winning 3-1 against Squadron, to stay in third place on goal difference, and defending Champions GAS’ come-from-behind 2-1 victory, courtesy of a Matt Zoeller brace, over Dragons leaving them a point behind the title race is now wide open, Spartans shaded Colloids with the only goal of the game meaning they leapfrogged French Kiss who went down 1-2 to Swiss who moved seven points clear of the relegation places.
Azzurri and HKU70s shared the points and four goals to leave them in first and third places respectively and with Boca’s 2-0 win over GGFC Azzurri’s lead has been reduced to goal difference leaving a mouthwatering league round 16 clash between the top two on 19 February, Dynamo beat White Youth 2-1, WYFC06 won 2-1 against Grasshoppers, Hearts drew 2-2 with IES and ANP moved one place above CSOB after winning their match 3-2.
Maccabi maintained their five point lead at the top of the third division after hitting Scorpions for six, Antonhill moved up one place into second after dispatching Goal Visio 3-0, Power 22 won 3-1 in their game with Darts, HOB and HKSS drew 1-1 and FOB moved further waway from the relegation zone after beating bottom placed team, OBA, 3-1.
Green Cypress and Corinthians remain in first and second positions after both coming away with 4-1 wins over Skyline and Standard Chartered, Bank of China’s went down 0-4 to Rising Sun, Gurkha Int’l beat Bapcoll 4-0 and Hung Art won 4-1 against CAPS.
