We have reviewed red card reports and the reports submitted by the referee and the opposition which confirm a player was shown 2 yellow cards and after receiving the second yellow card used foul and abusive language towards the match official. In accordance with previous precedents we have imposed the following penalties:

1. Three-match ban

2. HK$1000 fine

3. Three disciplinary points

Please note that the league takes a very dim view of such incidents and that should the player be involved in any other similar incidents between now and the end of the 2017-18 season that he would be likely facing a very long suspension.
