VACANCY FOR ADMINISTRATIVE OFFICER (AO) FOR YYL
The position of YYL AO will become vacant at the end of the 2005-06 season and EXCO are seeking submissions from parties who may be interested in taking up this challenging but rewarding role. The incumbent will report directly to, and take instructions from EXCO. With the increase in tasks and responsibilities EXCO now consider this position to be full time and the duties will principally include but are not limited to the following:
• Booking of Pitches
• Booking of Referees
• Drafting of Playing Schedule
• Drafting of Results & League Tables
• Drafting of Disciplinary Tables
• Drafting of Referees Scores
• Liaison with all teams, pitches, HKFRA, medical services and website supplier
• Uploading of all information on to the website
• Ordering of Medals & Trophies
• Taking Minutes of YYL Meetings
• Preparation of YYL Accounts under supervision of YYL Treasurer
• Other Tasks as delegated by YYL EXCO
The duties may be able to be carried out from home, however, should premises become available the incumbent may be required to work from the premises. The number of hours per week generally required to carry out the duties would be expected to be around 40 hours on average, more or less occurring according to dictates. All necessary office equipment - computer, software, fax machine equipment will need to be supplied by the applicant.
Interested parties (who should speak, read and write English and Cantonese) should submit their proposals, including expected remuneration, to the Secretary by no later then 10th July 2006 and EXCO would be delighted to receive proposals that elaborated on the duties and role from either individuals or organizations in addition to a statement as to the value they could bring to the YYL.
