A full league programme was played yesterday with Squadron maintaining their 5 point gap at the top of the first division with a 4-1 win against ANP - Anders Olsen returning to goalscoring form with a hat-rick. USRC and Wanderers stayed in contention with 1-0 wins against KCC Dragons and Spartans respectively. White Youth put 3 past goalless Albion and Antonhill went down 0-2 against Colts. 816 were top scorers in the division scoring a 5-2 win against Hearts. In Div 2 things have heated up at the top with 1st and 2nd placed Swiss and Germans drawing 1-1 against Hoo Cheung and Amphibians and 3rd and 4th French Kiss and KCC earning 5-1 and 2-0 victories against CSOB and University respectively - this leaves just 3 points between 1st and 4th place going into the final 5 fixtures. HKSS recorded a rare 3-0 victory over Yan Po and Wah Yan beat Azzurri 3-1. Runaway 3rd Division leaders maintained their impressive 100% record with a 4-0 win against OBA. In the battle for second place Boca drew 0-0 with Hung Art with Neil Drummond missing a penalty late in the game. CAPS moved closer with a 3-0 win over the GGs and NASA not quite reaching orbit in a 2-2 stalemate with Standard Chartered. In the other games Darts and Power 22 were both goalless in the early game at Community Sports and Scorpions stinging Grasshoppers in the match of the day with a 4-3 win. In the 4th Division WYFC06 and HKDC Mobsters both moved closer to Rising Sun with 2-0 and 1-0 victories over Corinthians and Barclays - Robert Collier, son of former squadron stalwart Mike, notching a brace for Mobsters. HKU70s stayed in contention for promotion with a 1-0 victory over Bapcoll who remain in 4th place. HOB beat Dynamo 3-0, Colloids overcame Youth Coaches 4-0 and Green Tree thrashed Skyline 6-0.
