The new year saw the second half of the league games commence with round 12 bringing a top of the table clash which saw 816 take a two goal lead only to see USRC come back with two second half goals to ensure the spoils were shared leaving 816 top but USRC dropped to third place after KCC beat their club mates Dragon by a scoreline of 2-0, French Kiss remain in fourth place after beating White Youth in a seven goal thriller, Wanderers stay in fifth after a resounding 3-0 win over Antonhill and who would bet against them making a push for honours in the coming weeks, Squadron won 3-1 against Spartans who look relegation bound and in the Club derby Colts put Albion down 3-1.
In the second division GAS won for sixth game in succession snd moved into pole position this time beating Azzurri 3-1 who stay bottom, Oxford moved down to second after drawing 1-1 with University, high flying Boca were brought down to earth after Yan Po hammered them 4-0, Swiss bounced back from the truncing they received from ANP with an emphatic 6-0 win over CSOB to underline their promotion intentions, ANP beat WHFC84 4-0 to stay fourth and keep the pressure on and Hoo Cheung won 4-3 against Hearts in the early game at KGV. In the third division NASA stay in second place despite drawing 0-0 with Outward Bound, CAPS moved two points closer to the promotion places after defeating Scorpions 1-0, HKSS remain in fourth place after crushing Hung Art 5-1 and WYFC06 won by the same scoreline against Standard Chartered who remain isolated at the bottom of the division, Darts overcame Rising Sun 4-1 and Grasshoppers secured three points with a 2-1 win over Amphibians. In the fourth division Crusaders moved 4 points clear at the top with a 2-0 win over Dynamo whose promotion chances appear to be slipping away, Colloids closed the gap on second place to 1 point with a 3-1 win over Bapcoll, HOB defeated HKU70s 2-0, Barclays vs Skyline was a 1-1 draw and the game between Power 22 and Green Tree was goalless – Corinthians and GGFC play next week.
