The cup quarter final will be contested by seven of the top ten teams in division one and one team from the fourth division. Cup holders Colts scored the only goal of the game to leave them on course for a third successive cup win after a 1-0 win over Wanderers which also meant that they are the only HKFC team left in the competition, 816 won 5-4 on penalties after a very even game was tied at 1-1 with 816 scoring early on and Shaka Hinds equalizing with a header for Mobsters, Antonhill beat Power 22 3-0, Crusaders keep the fourth division flag flying after edging Corinthians 1-0, Dragons won 3-0 against Boca, Oxford went down 1-3 to KCC, USRC thrashed ANP 5-0 and Squadron scored the only goal of the game against Grasshoppers. The quarter final games will be held on 8th March 2009.
In the second division GAS moved into the promotion places after beating CSOB 2-0, Hoo Cheung moved up to eighth place after a convincing 3-0 win over White Youth and WYFC84 and Spartans drew 1-1 to leave in fifth and seventh places respectively.
Darts remain in fourth place in the third division.
Dynamo moved into fourth place in div four after a 2-1 win over Bapcoll and Scorpions and Barclay shared the spoils in a four goal thriller.
