First division leaders Wanderers’ lead at the top of division one was increased to three points but after drawing 2-2 with Dragons and, with USRC not playing, the title race is wide open and could be decided on the final day of the league season, Colts and Albion, who had the talismanic Craig Tuckerman back on the pitch for the first time since his brace against Boca, drew 1-1 to leave them in fourth and sixth places respectively, the Normandy derby ended with the Germans beating the Squaddies 4-2, Knights hauled themselves off the bottom of division one following a 2-0 win over Boca who took their place and Swiss thrashed Colloids 4-0 to leave the former in with a very good chance of a top four place and the latter perilously close to the relegation zone.
Antonhill’s romp into the first division continued, as did their unbeaten run, following a 2-0 win over an ANP side who are still in with a promotion shout, French Kiss, also guaranteed to play div one football next season, maintained the pressure and had the ladies dancing after obliterating Azzurri 9-0, Spartans leapfrogged Mobsters into third place after beating them 2-0, Corinthians moved into the top half of the division after condemning Hoo Cheung to third division football with a 3-2 win, Oxford and Hearts shared the points and four goals as did White Youth and Dynamo which leaves the Civil Servants all but mathematically certain of joining Hoo Cheung in the drop.
Yan Po’s push towards promotion continued with 2-1 win over OBA to leave them well placed for promotion and OBA also remain on the cusp, GGFC remain in third place despite seeing a two goal lead turned over by a valiant Crusaders team who put three past the “Boys in Blue” ‘keeper, Nathan Slaymaker, in the final twenty minutes to leave the game at 3-2, HKUSA and bottom placed WYFC84 played out a scoreless draw, HOB scored the only goal in their game with University, HKU70s moved further away from the relegation places after they won 2-0 against Grasshoppers and Power 22 played out a 1-1 draw.
CAPS are guaranteed of promotion to the third division after beat HKSS 3-2, Darts are second following a 3-0 win over bottom placed team Barclays, Scorpions and IES are in third and sixth places respectively after drawing their game 0-0, Youth Coaches hit Bapcoll for 6 to leave them with an outside chance of promotion, Green Cypress and Skyline drew 2-2 and Rising Sun and Hung Art drew 1-1.
