Antonhill continued their remarkable unbeaten run to maintain a five points gap at the summit of division two following a 2-0 win over Mobsters, French Kiss already guaranteed of joining Antonhill in the top flight next season put a dent in third place Spartans’ promotion chances after beating them 3-1, ANP’s 0-0 draw with Azzurri prevented them from moving into the promotion places, Oxford thrashed Chairman’s Cup finalists, Corinthians, 6-1, White Youth beat Hearts 3-2 and Dynamo still have a mathematical possibility of staying up after they won 2-1 against third division bound Hoo Cheung.
CSOB took a step closer to the third division championship after a 1-1 draw with HOB, GGFC remain in the promotion places after an amazing game with Chairman’s Cup finalists HKU70s who went 3-0 up in the first half thanks to a seven minute hat-trick from wonder striker, William Chan, only for the “Fuzz” to come back and draw with three unanswered second half goals, OBA and WYFC84 shared the points and two goal which leaves the Class of ’84 relegated to the fourth division, Crusaders, still with an outside chance of promotion, drew their game with Power 22 which leaves the Power a lot to do in their three remaining games to avoid the drop, HKUSA and WYFC06 drew 0-0 in the early game at Sandy Bay and Grasshoppers moved a little bit further away from the relegation zone after a 2-0 win against University.
CAPS 1-1 draw with Standard Chartered kept them on course for the fourth division title, Darts look to be joining CAPS in the third tier next year following a convincing 4-0 win over Hung Art, IES moved to third place after putting six past bottom-placed club, Barclays, without reply, Rising Sun scored the only goal in their game with Green Cypress, HKSS edged Youth Coaches 2-1 and Skyline shaded Bapcoll 4-3.
