Dear YYL Members, dear YYL Team Reps

We would like to inform you that the 2024 YAU YEE FOOTBALL LEAGUE (YYL) ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING (AGM) will take place on - 7PM Thursday 22 August 2024 AT HONG KONG FOOTBALL CLUB (HKFC), in particular 2F Happy Valley Suits 1+2. Each team needs to have at least one registered member and team rep to attend.

Failure for attendance will result in a HKD500 fine for the team.

Traditionally we will provide finger food and some drink selections during the AGM.

As you all know it’s going to be a special AGM as the members will have to vote for a new Chairman, new Secretary, new ExCo member in the position of Webmaster, new Div 1 Rep and new Div 4 Rep. The agenda will also cover the Financial review but without the audited accounts on hand due to the fact that the league will start on Sunday 08 September 2024 and the ExCo needs to ensure the efficiency and responsibility in its structure and organization to run the league properly. The audited accounts will be available to all members once completed towards the end of year 2024.



Positions to be elected by the Members at AGM:

The position of a new Chairman. The initial proposal and recommendation to the YYL members from our leaving Chairman Michael Johnson as well as the YYL ExCo will be Mr Cyrill Arzner, which is our current league secretary. Any other candidate or contester shall submit his application for the position of Chairman no later than 15 August 2024 to the YYL Executive Committee with his motivation letter and CV for the related valuation process.

Any other candidate or contester shall submit his application for the position of Chairman no later than 15 August 2024 to the YYL Executive Committee with his motivation letter and CV for the related valuation process.

The position of a new ExCo member in the position of Webmaster. The initial proposal from our leaving Webmaster Michael Yen as well as the YYL ExCo will be Mr Ali Farooqi as new member to the ExCo. The ExCo is also looking for an additional Webmaster colleague to work with Mr Ali Farooqi. Any candidate or contester shall submit his application for the position of ExCo member in the function as Webmaster no later than 15 August 2024 to the YYL Executive Committee with his motivation letter and CV for the related valuation process.

As the previous Div 1 Rep and Div 4 Rep have voluntarily resigned from their duties, the YYL ExCo is looking for NEW candidates to join the ExCo for the relevant task and responsibilities. We are looking forward to welcoming YOU and please submit your interest and application for the position of Div 1 or Div 4 Rep no later than 15 August 2024 to the YYL Executive Committee with your motivation letter and CV for the related valuation process.
