Red Card for Violent Conduct
The Disciplinary Sub-committee (DSC) of the Yau Yee League reviewed reports from the referee and both teams on an incident that led to a WYFC84 player receiving a red card in this match.
Based on the reports, the DSC has concluded that a player of WYFC84 committed an act of violent conduct by deliberately kicking an opponent during a stoppage in play. This type of conduct is viewed very seriously by the League, and accordingly the player is subject to the following penalties, based on the guidelines set out under Disciplinary Guideline 4 â
ï¬ $1,000 fine
ï¬ four-match ban
ï¬ 3 disciplinary points
The four-match ban is effective from the League match on 20 January 2008.
