On 25 April 2012 the Executive Committee (ExCo) of the Yau Yee League (YYL) decided to suspend a member team from the league pending a disciplinary hearing. Given that one of the ExCo members is registered with the team concerned, in accordance with section 18(a) of the YYL constitution the office concerned has to be declared vacant. The YYL will hold the disciplinary hearing involving the team in question as soon as possible, in order to resolve this situation.
The ExCo has informed the ExCo member concerned of the situation.
As a consequence, Mike Ashton will temporarily perform the duties of the Secretary until further notice.
