Manual Change of Team Sheet |
2013年1月30日星期三 |
The Disciplinary Sub-committee (DSC) of the Yau Yee League has recently considered a case in which a team made a hand-written change to its team sheet for a match - specifically to include an extra player. The addition of this player also increased the number of squad members to 31 when the maximum squad size permitted under the League Rules is 30.
Rule 34 of the Yau Yee League Rules clearly states that manual changes to team sheets are not allowed, and that any team making such a change will incur a penalty.
In accordance with Rule 34, therefore, the DSC concluded that the team in question should be subject to the following penalties:
1. Deduction of 3 points
2. Deduction of 3 goals
3. A fine of HK$500.
Teams are reminded to ensure they print out and use up-to-date team sheets for all matches in order to avoid hand-written changes and penalties under Rule 34.
