Dear team reps,
The annual YYL dinner will be held at the HKFC dining room this year on Saturday 4 May 2013. This will coincide with the YYL cup final which will be held on the main HKFC pitch at 5:00pm (entrance is of course free) so we hope those of your who plan on attending the dinner will come early and watch the cup final.
This year's dinner will revert to a western buffet (menu is attached for your reference with a cash bar (ie drinks are not included in the cost) HK$300 per head. As we are in the HKFC dining room this time, the seating availability and logistics will be quite different and you need to note the following very carefully.
1. We are limited to a capacity of 230 seats this year.
2. As usual, teams will be charged a minimum of 4 tickets as commitment to the league (whether you take the seats or not).
3. But teams will be limited to a maximum of 12 tickets at this point in time.
4. As seats are limited, we plan on re-distributing unclaimed seats to teams who wish to take up more. As such, there is an attendance registration deadline. ALL teams must register the number of attendees not later than 22 April with your respective team reps. Any team not registering by that date will be considered to have FORFEITED their seats and we will re-distribute those seats to other teams.
5. The number of attendees indicated on 22 April will be the number of tickets your team will be charged. (i.e. you will be charged at least 4 tickets if you decide to send less than 4 people. You will be charged 8 if you claim 8 even if only 7 turn up on the day. You will be charged at least 12 if you plan on getting more from the re-distributed seats).
6. Teams who wish to take up more seats may apply to the dinner organising sub-com chairman, Neil Jensen and their div reps after 22 April. The unclaimed seats will be re-distributed on a first come first served basis.
7. Walk-ins on the day will absolutely NOT be entertained.
Since the dinner will precede the end of season, please note that the 6-a-side trophies and the Chairman's cup trophies will NOT be presented at the dinner. As a cost reduction matter, we will also NOT be presenting trophies or medals for 3rd place teams or souvenir for 7-a-side representatives.
