- Red Card for Club Albion Player
The Disciplinary Sub-committee (DSC) of the Yau Yee League has reviewed reports from the referee and both teams on the incident that led to a Club Albion player receiving a red card in this match.
Based on the reports, the DSC has concluded that the player was given a red card for violent conduct – specifically, for deliberately treading on an opposition player whilst not challenging for the ball. In accordance with the Yau Yee League Rules and Disciplinary Guideline 4, the DSC has decided that player should be subject to the following minimum penalties for violent conduct –
A $500 fine
A three-match ban
3 disciplinary points.
The three-match ban took effect from the League match on 24 February 2008.
