CAPS pierced the back of the Darts net 5 times to leave them a game away from a place in the Chairman's Cup final, they are joined in the semi-finals by Dynamo who overcame WYFC84 thanks to strikes from Mervyn McKinley, Brian Yeung and goal machine Alan Greeberg and University who beat Rising Sun 4-2, the result from the HOB vs IES game was late in.
Last season's losing finalists, GAS, moved into the semi-finals of the cup after beating Albion after extra-time, they are joined by USRC who broke Hearts 5-1, Corinthians who hammered Spartans 8-3 and Dragons who slayed Boca 5-1.
The draw for the cup semi-finals will be made in due course and the games scheduled on 15 March 2015. Duration of these games will be 40 minutes each. During the quarter finals, semi-finals and finals of the Cup Competitions, when a match results in a draw at the end of normal time, extra time of two additional periods of 10 minutes each will be played. If penalties are needed to decide a match which is still tied, each side will take 5 penalties to decide the outcome of the match followed by sudden death penalties if necessary. All semi-final matches will be played at King's Park.
The finals of both cup competitions will be held at the Hong Kong Football Club on Saturday 9 May 2015 followed by the annual awards dinner.
