YYL Cup Finals

All YYL members, their friends and families and anyone else who wants to enjoy a feast of football should pop over to Sports Road, Happy Valley on Saturday 6th May 2023.
A curtain raiser game between YYL Team Reps against the Referees starting at 01:00PM followed by the Chairman\'s Cup Final kicking off at 2.30pm and the season end highlight by the YYL Cup Final with a KO time of 4.30pm.The cup finals will be followed by the annual awards dinner which will be held in the Sports Hall at HKFC from 7pm. There will be a buffet dinner and open bar for 2 hours (open bar from 7.30-9.30pm)

Tickets cost HKD 510 per head which includes a buffet dinner and 2-hour open bar (wine, beer and soft drinks The dinner will include a lucky draw. Each team must purchase a minimum of 4 tickets and teams taking 6 or more tickets will receive a subsidy of HKD 160 per ticket bring the cost down to HKD 350 per head for those teams with 6 or more attendees.

Book tickets through your divisional representatives by latest 29th April 2023, stating how many seats you require. Should the event be over-booked, allocations will be on a first-come-first-served basis. You do not have to settle payment immediately, the ticket costs will be added to your team account for the third and final payment of the season.

6s Tournament

The fixtures for the first round of the 6s, to be held on Sunday 14 May 23 at King\'s Park, have been scheduled on the website and a spreadsheet is also attached with the rules for the tournament and details for the finals to be held on the following Sunday 21 May 23.

YYL Select in Citibank 7s

Charlie Pyke of Colloids has been appointed coach for this years YYL Select side and will be in contact with team reps for them to put forward players to attend training and trials with a view to participating in the tournament and over the weekend 27-28 May 2023.

Final Round of League matches (League Round 22 Divs 1, 2 and 3/League Round 20 Div 4)

Please note that, as in previous seasons, for the final round of league matches we will try to organize matches involving teams from the same division with a chance of promotion or relegation to be played at the same time. This will help maximize interest and ensure a level playing field for the teams concerned. Depending on league positions after the penultimate round this could require the moving of fixtures to different pitches, changes to kick-off times and the relinquishing of home pitches. We would aim to ensure that any movement of fixtures involving promotion or relegation would have a minimal effect on the schedules for other matches and we will notify the teams concerned of any changes as soon as possible.

For the avoidance of doubt, if two or more teams are on the same points at the end of the season, the league place(s) will be decided by the following and in this order:

Goal Difference
Most Goals Scored
Head to Head
Play Off Game With Extra Time (10 minutes each way) And Penalties If Required
