KCC Dragons moved 8 points clear at the top of division two following a 4-0 won over a spirited Squadron side, USRC remain in second after coming from behind twice against Knights with the final score 2-2, 816 maintained the pressure with a far-from-easy 4-2 win over Mobsters, scorers for the Mob were goal machine Laurence Finnerty and a peach from Tem Hansen, Wanderers and Swiss shared the points and four goals, the Germans leapfrogged Colts into fifth place after beating them 4-2 and Antonhill drew 2-2 with Albion.
Colloids remain at the summit of division two despite being held to a 2-2 draw by a Hearts team still well entrenched in the relegation places, Boca scored the only goal in their game with ANP, who are still in the promotion hunt, to move into second place after French Kiss, who dropped to third spot, were held to a 2-2 draw by bottom placed University, Azzurri are still in with a shout of promotion after they beat Dynamo team 3-1, Hoo Cheung scored the only goal in their early game at KGV with Spartans and HKUSA moved a little further away from the relegation places after edging White Youth by the odd goal in five at Sandy Bay.
The third division title and promotion races promises to be every bit as exciting as last season with all the top four teams winning…Oxford are still in first place after they won 2-1 against WYFC06, OBA are a point behind after beating Crusaders 3-1, Wah Yan’s Class of ’84 are third following a 4-1 win over Yan Po, Corinthians kept in the top four after piercing Darts 3-0 in the early game at Community Sports, CSOB and GGFC drew 1-1 and Grasshoppers won 4-0 against HKSS.
Power 22, who just missed out on promotion last season, are still four point clear at the top of division four following a workmanlike 2-0 victory over CAPS, HKU70s hammered Amphibians 9-1 to maintain second placer and a five point lead over third placed team, IES, who knocked Rising Sun for six, Standard Chartered banked a 1-0 win over Bapcoll, Hung Art and Skyline played out the only goalless game of the day and Youth Coaches beat Scorpions 4-0.
