KCC Dragons are now an amazing eleven points clear at the top of division one after a narrow 1-0 win over perennial bridesmaids 816, a tight game was settled by a penalty from Dragons right back John O’Reilly, USRC stay third after a last minute scrambled goal gave them a 3-2 win over GAS, Wanderers stay in fourth place despite going down 1-3 to fellow Sports Roaders,Albion who moved up to fifth, Knights scored the only goal in their game with Colts but are not out of the relegation mix and Squadron beat Mobsters 2-0 to move them out of the relegation places – with the bottom placed five teams playing almost all of their games against each other the fight to stay up could go down to the wire…
With only four games to go in division two Colloids and Boca beat French Kiss (3-2) and HKUSA (2-0) respectively to leave them both five points clear in the promotion places, Spartans moved up a place after edging Azzurri 2-1, ANP are fifth but despite down 1-2 to White Youth, Dynamo gained three much needed points after scoring the only goal in the early game at KGV with Hoo Cheung and Hearts closed the gap on HKUSA after beating them 6-0.
OBA maintained pole position in division three following a 1-0 win over CSOB, Oxford remain in second place after beating WYFC84 2-0, Grasshoppers went down 1-3 against Crusaders who remain in the relegation battle, Yan Po beat bottom placed team HKSS 2-0, the game between HOB and GGFC was the only no-score draw of the day and WYFCO6 and Darts remain in eleventh and twelfth positions respectively after they drew 1-1 – promotion and relegation places are far from settled.
HKU70s are still top of division four after a convincing 5-1 win over Scorpions, Power 22 remain second and two points behind with a game in hand after they more or less ended IES’s promotion challenge after beating them 2-0, CAPS moved into fourth spot after winning 3-0 against Youth Coaches, Barclay drew 1-1 with Rising Sun, Hung Art edged Amphibians by the odd goal in three and Bapcoll shaded Skyline to close the gap at the bottom.
