USRC thrashed Wanderers 4-0 to leave a five point gap at the top of the table going into the second half of the season, Swiss scored the only goal in their game with Colts, the Dragons slayed French Kiss by the odd goal in five, Spartans finished the first half of their league campaign with an impressive thirteen points after they shaded Antonhill 2-1 and bottom placed team Colloids showed that they would not be going down without a fight after they beat Squadron 3-1.
With Hearts and Boca drawing 0-0 and 2-2 against Azzurri and Knights respectively, the mighty Mobsters leapfrogged into pole position after they dispatched bottom placed team Yan Po 5-0, Corinthians beat ANP 5-2 to put them closer to the promotion places, CSOB hammered the GG’s 5-2 and CSOB won 2-1 in their game with White Youth.
HKU70s and WYFC06 found no way through each other after their game ended 0-0 but it still leaves them both well placed in front of the chasing pack for promotion to division two, Darts went down to the ever improving Dynamo 1-3, University overcame CAPS 2-1, OBA went down 1-2 in the early game at Sandy Bay against HKUSA, the team formerly known as Crusaders drew 1-1 with HOB and Grasshoppers jumped to their first win of the season and off the bottom of the table following a 1-0 win over Scorpions which leaves the relegation battle wide open.
IES stayed on course for the third division after they won 3-1 against Bapcoll, Rising Sun went down 1-2 to Green Cypress, Power 22 moved into the relegation places after a convincing 4-1 win over WYFC84, Youth Coaches lost 2-4 to HKSS and the games between Skyline and Standard Chartered and Hung Art and Barclays ended 1-2 and 2-4 respectively.

A long way to go before the championship/promotion and relegation battles are decided and great excitement beckons for the second half of the season - here's to some great football.
