We are pleased to announce that our sponsor HKDC have agreed to support the "team of the month awards" for 2005-06. The prize for each winner is 2 x business class return tickets to Bangkok and the awards are backdated to the beginning of the season. The winners are as follows:
Sep-Oct 05 Hung Art
Nov-Dec 05 GGFC
Jan-Feb 06 Scorpions
Mar-Apr 06 Hoo Cheung
The criteria for the team of the month award is as follows:
Based on total number of games played (league and cup) for the periods: Sep/Oct, Nov/Dec, Jan/Feb, Mar/Apr. Teams will automatically be disquallified from the team of the month award if they have played an ineligible player(s).
League games:
3 points for a win, 1 point for a draw, 0 points for a loss.
-3 points for a red card, -1 point for a yellow card.
Cup games:
3 points for a win, 0 points for a loss.
Disciplinary Points:
-3 points for a red card, -1 point for a yellow card.
Calculation:
Total of League and Cup game points will be divided by the number of games played and added to the total. Total disciplinary points will be divided by the number of games played and deducted from the total. Bonus point: if there are no disciplinary points for a team during the period the team will be rewarded with one point.
Should a team/teams achieve the highest score on more then one occasion during a season, the prize will be awarded to the next highest scoring team. In the result of a tie the award will be decided on: Lowest Disciplinary Points, Highest Goal Difference, Highest Goals Scored (in that order). |
