It was 1/4 final stage of the cup competition yesterday with all games settled without the need for penalties. In the early game at KGV, Hoo Cheung beat Yan Po 2-1 and will be the only non-topflight team in the draw for the semi-finals (draw will be made at Amici's this Friday). In the other games Club Colts knocked aching Hearts for 6 with little Mike Wilson scoring one of the goals, Swiss XI were unlucky to be edged 1-2 by Club Wanderers and 816 beat the Germans by 3 goals to 1.

There was also a full round of fourth division games with Rising Sun ensuring they kept top spot with an emphatic 5-0 win over HOB. In the battle for second place HKU70s, WYFC06, BapColl and Mobsters all came out victors with wins over Green Tree, Skyline, Youth Coaches and Dynamo respectively - Mobsters win was secured by a peach of a volley in the first half by Dean Locke. In the other game Corinithians and Barlays shared the spoils with a 2-2 draw. In the only other fixture of the day Boca Seniors edged closer to securing second spot and promotion in the 3rd division with a 3-1win over Darts at Community Sports. Full results as follows:
